Warrior Armour - Guild Wars Forums

Hey,

I am in the process of buying new armour for my warrior and there is one question i need to ask.
On the armour it says something like armour 80, armour +20 vs physical damage and then there is one more. That is generally like +2 mp or something but i was wondering since there is peices of armour with -3 recived phicical damage and it dosent say stacking or non stacking, dose this mean since there are other peices of armour with recieved phycical damage -3, does this mean i can have 2+ of the extras -3 damage from the armour and it will still work? or will it only do -3?

The -3 only comes into play when that piece of armor is hit. Having a chestpiece with -3 and leggings with -3 means you only get -3 when you're hit in the chest and -3 when you're hit in the leggings. It's not really worth it.

The -3 bonus is NOT global, and will only trigger if you get hit on an armor piece that has that bonus. Example - you have the bonus on your chest only, but get hit on the boots. The -3 bonus will not trigger.

You can have a -3 bonus on each part of your armor, so that no matter where you get hit you will always get the -3 bonus. Also, it won't stack, so no matter how many armor peices you have with the -3 bonus, only the armor part that has it counts. Btw, I'm 99% sure it's only vs. physical, but I'm not completely sure.

Also, next time you post about proffesion specific things such as armor, try going to 'The Campfire', located ~halfway down the forum page.

Note that the -X vs physical does stack with other things like a shield though. I would still choose a different option though.

the above is correct the -3 from armor is only for THAT piece of armor...but the Superior Rune of Absorbtion is Global...meaning you only need one to get the -3 vs physical attack ...no matter where u get hit it kicks in.
